4. Is it possible... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Quote: Not sure I understand your question but I'll give it a try. If all your trying to do is create a character for trading ships then all you should need are the skills to fly that ship and that's all. On the other hand if your trying to ...

Oh, quick point. Another MMORPG, Neocron, has around 2000 subscribers spread out over four servers (There's a French Server as well, but it's owned by a third-party). Yet the game is far from being dead. The entire team who made it are only fif...

7. The GM's Influence on EVE, A Different Perspective. - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Hmm, just realised something else: People seem willing to use the "Roleplaying" reason when trying to justify griefing, shamless killing of newbies....etc, but it's quite another thing when one of their rivals gets a powerful item from a GM. Som...

11. Think GM's will ruin this game and economy? Poll - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Question: If these parts do sell for "billions" and someone buys them, how is that ruining the game? If someone is stupid enough to pay such an absurd amount of money for a _single_ item...well, something's very wrong with them.

12. Think GM's will ruin this game and economy? Poll - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Doubtful. Those with "superior" pieces of equipment will simply be targets, highly profitable ones at that, for Pirates and rival companies. Any "GM items" won't stay in the same hands for too long, even a fool could see that.

19. Anyone interested in... - in EVE General Discussion [original thread]
Unless the two combatants came to an agreement before the fight, it would be until one had their ship destroyed. The battle would stop there, although there are no guarantees a particuarly malicous pilot wouldn't _truly_ kill the other person.
